Globalization has been hugely beneficial to Asia. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and China have reaped lasting benefits from worldwide investment flows, knowledge exchanges, and rapid economic growth. And while globalization undoubtedly made the rich even richer, the poor also benefitted. Several Asian economies saw the emergence of a large middle class and the virtual elimination of poverty.

Globalization affects a wide-range of life aspects, primarily world economics because globalization has a purpose of outsourcing social network and existing connections to build exclusive connections between countries. Asia's economic growth during s was accelerated due to the influx of foreign investment while during and , a significant setback took place as the US dollar appreciated tremendously even in comparison to the yuan which led to financial distress in Asia and affected South Korea where similar debt structures were also recognised.
Given the vast the scope and multiple meanings associated with the term globalization, it would be quite difficult to cover all the topics that this term brings forth. Instead, I intend to focus on one aspect of globalization that I am currently a participant of. I am part of the 1.
